Chad Washburn, PLS
Chad provides leadership, direction, marketing and mentorship for Washburn Land Surveying. Chad is responsible for sales, marketing and client relationsips for our clients, as well as the overall operations of the Company. He is a Professional Land Surveyor with more than 19 years of experience, the last four of which have been in a management role with emphasis in route surveying, right-of-way surveys, both large and small land development projects and boundary resolutions in mountain, rural and urban settings as well as topographic design surveys ranging in size from less than one acre to over 30,000 acres. Chad has been using and managing both RTK and Fast Static GPS systems for the last 14 years and has personally performed all aspects of Fast Static GPS Control Networks including planning, fieldwork, calculations, adjustments and preparation of final control diagram and report.
Chad holds Professional Land Surveyor licenses in Colorado, Idaho, and Wyoming.
Chad currently serves as the Larimer County Surveyor, where he represents the County in boundary disputes and assists citizens with land surveying questions. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Idaho State University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Colorado. He uses the skills he is learned to bring added value to Washburn Land Surveying’s clients.
Andy Shellenbarger, LSI
Andy provides technical oversight to Washburn Land Surveying. He uses his more than 10 years of experience in Land Surveying to ensure the field surveyors surveying equipment, software, processes and quality control procedures that are used at WLS meet out clients expectations for precision, accuracy, timeliness and cost.
His experience in land surveying include construction layout of commerical and residential projects, boundary surveying, topographic mapping and corridor surveys. He was responsible for the boundary research portion of a several hundred mile route survey, taking him to the courthouses of many Eastern Colorado Counties to gather deed and survey records and assisted in the compilation of this data.
He attended the Univerity of Wyoming . Andy has been enrolled as Land Surveyor Intern (LSI) since 2006 and is seeking his Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
